Why Angus Beef?

Angus doesn’t refer to a cut or grade of beef or how cattle are raised. It refers to specific breeds of cattle - Red and Black Angus.

So why choose Angus beef?

Compared to other beef breeds, Angus is highly sought after due to it’s superior taste and exquisite tenderness. This is attributed to the meat’s natural marbling – a trait that Angus beef is known for.

In marbled meat, the fat is distributed thinly and evenly, which leads to a juicy and flavorful product.

At K&B Farms, our Angus beef cattle are on pasture during the warmer days of the spring, summer and fall seasons. The herd is free to roam across our 80+ acres lush grass pasture. Steers are provided a ration of premium grains prior to processing to further enhance the marbling characteristics and tenderness of the finished product.
